Description
SALISBURY PRO-WEAR TM ARC FLASH GLOVES have an ATPV rating of 100 cal/cm2*.
These gloves are sewn with Nomex® thread. The 100 cal/cm2 rated gloves are made from TuffWeld® (60% Lenzing FRTM – 40% Kevlar®) and Q/9® layered material.
100 CAL/CM – 10 oz./yd2 (339 g/m2) TuffWeld over 2 layers – 9.4 oz./yd2 (319 g/m2) Q/9® batting
All Arc Flash Gloves are 14” long and designed in a clute cut style. One size fits most.
Caution: Arc Flash Gloves do not provide electrical protection. DO NOT USE when insulating rubber gloves are required
Important: NFPA 70E does not have a Hazard Risk Category above 40 cal/cm2. Working on levels above 40 cal/cm2 should be avoided because of the blast hazards caused by ARC FLASH.
